A great big emphatic DITTO. I have found that putting stuff on my REI Visa and slowly paying it off (in small, un-alarm-setting chunks) seems to work.

I paused to think about a YELLOW patagonia torrentshell jacket for 40 bucks.. I already have a gray one...when I finally decided color doesn't matter...it was gone.
