Anyone tried one of these ? I'm a diehard caldera cone alcohol stove user but this baby is pretty sweet at eight ounces. Seven inches tall by four inches width is comperable to my MSR Titan setup and I must admit, being able to pickup your fuel as you hike is a BIG plus. Stash a couple of esbit tabs for when you've been hiking in a couple of days of rain.

The first batch (100x) has not shopped yet.
I too have the caldera cone (and very happy with it.. ) but have this on order just to see how it performs.
I plan to test it with alcohol too since we cannot burn wood in most national parks .
(I only boil water, never "cook")

I saw a review of the clone where an alcohol stove was used inside. I believe the alcohol stove came from a caldera cone system. The results were good.

I do plan on getting one, but I'll be in the second or third batch. I normally don't carry a stove, but that's because the total weight of a cooking system for a week-long trip is heavier than I care for. I like that a wood burning stove means that all the fuel weight can be ditched.

Here is a link to a previous thread about this stove. http://www.whiteblaze.net/forum/showthread.php?t=66670

I have not received any recent updates about the production times. I see Devin is on twitter now and maybe thats how he is doining updates instead of e-mail.

I wish one of these stoves could go on a thru of the AT this year. The acid test so to speak! I have not heard of this happening.
