Us 220 and try Commonwealth....
The trail crosses within sight of I-81 (US 220) and goes beside the Pizzz Hut on one side of the road and a dry cleaners on the other. Can't miss it.
Commonwealth is the street kroegers is on 10-k. But the way you put it maybe easier..

If he's driving in and thats what I am getting from his post...Take exit 105B thats the exit to get here off I-81...

I just parked at that dry cleaners there just a few weeks ago. Trail goes right by that parking lot. If you go street view in the link below, you can see the dry cleaners to the west, it's a small brick building with a small white car in the parking lot. A local shuttler said it's ok to park there.

Thanks for the tips guys. Is there a shuttler in Daleville? Anyone every park at the gas station? Looks like the trail runs right by it!
Just past the Howard Johnson's is a parking area for commuter parking.It's patroled by the Sheriff's Dept.. PM landshark he does trail magic and Shuttles....
I've shuttled out of Daleville twice and used the outfitter for shuttles. I left my truck in the Kroger parking lot under one of the lights - very safe.
Ashman Go into my Gallery thats what you will see coming of the trail head. Going NOBO... The Outfitters in Daleville's is outdoorTrail and they shuttle. (540) 992-5850 Also Go to the ATC site there is a local shuttler they have listed and it has his phone number and email....10-K is right you can also park at the kroegers parking lot and wont have any issue. We got Bojangles down here, I have never eaten at The Homeplace, we are thinking of hitting that place up for the post hike meal!

You wont regret it:sun You can see it from the FS road by the Knob..It's awesome....You can't miss the trail head it's right next to the cleaners and the gas station across the street. In between the 2 hiker crossing signs....:D

Land shark here. Just let me know when and where. Will be leaving for springer at end of march and finishing at trail days for a month to let every one catch up. Hope to see u on the trail
