My avitar does not show up now. Do you have to be a donating member to have a custom avatar?
Yes, I believe that is one of the perks of being a donating member.

I used to donate but haven't been feeling the love lately.
I also used to have an avitar and it has disappeared. I just thought that reptiles scared the avitars away.
