Is it a problem to use visa prepaid credit cards to make hotel reservations?
I don't have any experience with these, but my expectation would be that any place that accepts VISA credit/debit cards would accept the prepaid card.

No it is not a problem, they work just like a regular visa card. The only time they may be an issue is when you use them at a restruant. When swiped it automatically will do a preauthorization to include a tip amount. So you need to make sure that you have enough room on them. They won't include the tip on the actual charge if you choose not to tip or tip less than the 15%. Or tip in cash. But it does pre auth for that amount in case you do.
