If you have bumper stickers on your car or truck, what does it say? (Hiker type) I saw one many years ago that still stood out in my mind. "No Pain, No Rain, No Maine"!

One I would want:

"Some Bears Should Be In A Zoo"
and then have a picture of Bear Grylls.

I've got the 'AT' symbol with a little stick figure climbing up part of the 'A'. Also, I recently added a classic "Not all who wander are lost" sticker.

Another one I own but have yet to put on says "Live simply so that others may simply live." I guess that's hiking related.

John, to the artistic type your sig. line is reversed. I've rarely known a scientist who likes to leave simple explanations alone. Complicating the explanation of the simple seems to me to be the entire goal of the scientific community. :)

Mine doesn't say anything, but it's an ExOfficio decal and it reads: "My Underwear Is Smarter Than Your Honor Student".

That's a quote from Paul Dirac http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_Dirac and when I first read it I connected with it.

Poems are just written to wow people. No reason to waste time with that crap. No special secrets in poems, they just sound mysterious and people go goo-goo over them.

If you like poems, then have at it http://poetryoutloud.org/poems/poems.20lines.html .... me, I'd rather read something of significance and spend time contemplating over. Life has many more rich and interesting riddles than someone's rambling about love or other crazy human emotion....

I have one of those!

I also have one that says "Born to Blue Blaze", "Hiker Trash", a Cumberland Trails Conference decal that says "Trails. We build 'em!", and one from a hiking club I used to belong to that says, "Not as mean, Not as lean, but still a Marine."

<snip>

I honestly wonder why some people don't have a trigger in them that says "you know, maybe there ISN'T any more room on my car."

Anywho, my stickers are a USN "Euro" Oval, and a AT symbol oval with a hiker climbing up one of the sides.

My license plate frame says "will work for bandwith"

"I took the road less traveled, now where the hell am I"

"Not all who wander are lost, but in the case I probably am."

Not strickly hiking related but the Virginia hikers may appreciate..."Cuccinelli is a hoax, Global warming is real."

Growing up in NY state I drove a couple of cars that were held together by bumper stickers, in PA they don't allow rust to progress that far so I just cover up bumper scratches from hitting trees while parking. Also wife doesn't allow them on her car.

The hiking ones on the truck are "Appalachian Trail Maintainer," "FLT", the ALDHA sticker "I Brake for Trail Crossings", and (this one needs replacing too often because it fades away) "Mid State Trail."

On the front is a oicture of a roll of TP with the explanation "We're #1 in #2" - that's a testament to my day job.

Yeah, but "They'll pry my bumper sticker off my cold, dead bumper" just doesn't sound right. :-?
