That's a bit heavy for a ground cloth. I use Polycryo Ground Cloth from Gossamer Gear. Weighs an ounce after I cut away the excess to shape it to my tent measurements. Save the other 5oz for whiskey. You get two of them when you buy it.

You can get the same stuff as heat shrink plastic storm windows in hardware stores, Lowes, etc. Stores in the north probably still have it in stock. It's very light and surprisingly durable.

Yeah, I use the same type of stuff that I bought at Lowes (not sure if it's 3M brand or not). I started using it last year, and have taken one sheet out on multiple trips. The sheet has no visible wear or tear on it. That stuff is amazingly durable and very light. Only downside is that if you get a tear you need to stop it ASAP as the stuff tears easily once a tear starts. I only know this cause I tried though...haven't actually had it tear in the field yet.

I've been using the same polycro ground sheet from Gossamer Gear for about 5 years now. It shows no wear at all. Total weight is less than 2 ounces.
