i bought trash compactor bags for my backpack, but they are clean fresh scent. just noticed this. should i return them for unscented or will it not attract animals?
Might be more of a big attractant, hard to say. I'd return them just to be on the safe side.

They will seep into everything, including your clothes and food. Anything strong enough to mask garbage is STRONG.
