View Full Version : Please take this survey about the AT!!!
I am an Outdoor Education and Recreation student at Ohio University. I am taking a research Methods class that requires me to complete a survey and analyze the information. I have decided to do my study about who is hiking the AT and what kind of hiking they are doing. If you could please take the survey it should take no more than 30 minutes. Thanks for your time

Done. Really cool qualitative questions! Can you let us know the general themes of what you find?
Also, you might consider creating a consent and debriefing form to go with your questionnaire for more practice with the logistical side of research, including ethics ;)
nice survey hope this helps with your research

I just took the survey. It is not real well suited for folks who have hiked the AT more than once. For example you can't indicate you've hiked the whole trail and are still continuing to hike it.

I am a....Recreation student at Ohio University.
My son graduated from OU in 2008 and I am impressed with the quality of education he received; in spite of OU's reputation as:

As a graduate of Ohio U. and a GA-ME thruhiker in 2005, I thought it a duty to fill out the survey. I can't wait until my next thruhike in 2013!
