In which trail towns might I find a place in which to resole my boots if needed?
If anyone knows off-hand, or if anyone has had their boots resoled along the trail, please let me know.

I know the ALDHA companion lists places that do boot repairs in towns. At least it has in the past.

Take along JB Weld. Works great to glue on those loose soles.

I always have a spare pair that can be shipped to me. I then send the worn ones back and they are resoled by someone I trust. Have had expensive boots ruined by inexperience.
This guy resoled my boots back in 2001. It took 5 days to get them back after he received them. I told him I was thru hiking.
