Water source and camp site at Smith Gap Rd

Me and a buddy of mine are doing a 50miler in may and was wondering if Crayon Lady and Mechanical man still have their backyard open for hikers to stay at? In the 2010 companion it says they do but not the 2011, did they just forget them? or are they not providing this service anymore? Thanks for any help on this:)

Did that section last year, blazes leading to his place are still there but I cashed water at the road so didnt need to go for water.
