My local Publix grocery had a sale on snack stuff (nuts, and other specialty type snacks) in the produce department.

I got some wasabi peas and some Dried Veggie Chips.

The wasabi peas are interesting. Hot as hell!! it turns out wasai is japanese horse radish. Not sure what to do with them.

The veggie chips were kind of blah and way too salty. it contained carrot, potato, zuchini, green bean, sweet potato, taro.

Then I had an idea. I added a handful of the chips t (hot and spicy) and a handful of tortelleni to an order of ramen noodles . It came out great. The chips must have been freeze dried. they came to life in both taste and texture. even the beans.

Try crushing a few wasabi peas into most anything that is bland like mashed potatos,a packet of tuna maybe a peanut butter sandwich. They are like dehydrated hot sauce, tasty.

Freeze-dried and fried....and yes, they all work great in meals due to that!
