My boyfriend (Matchstick) hiked part of the AT in 2008 and used the Appalachian Pages by David Miller and Rick Towle as his guidebook. We are attempting to do a thru hike starting in early April and can't seem to find the 2011 edition of Appalachian Pages. Does anyone know if it's still being published. Any other recommendations for good guidebooks?

Thanks for your help!

Cora, it's still a great guide, now published by David Miller. It does have a new name -- The A.T. Guide.

Here's a link for you: The A.T. Guide (http://www.theatguide.com/)

It comes in several versions. I recommend the loose leaf version, because I only take the pages with me that I need.

If you do a search for AT Guide or some such, you'll find threads on here discussing it and others. ALDHA makes an excellent guide too, which the ATC also sells.
