Any suggestions on what else would be needed for two weeks on the AT?? I'm welcome to any and all opinions

When are you hiking?

first aid
maps/guidebook
what's a 'fillo'?

I had to google this,,,, either they are carrying some sort of pastry, or it's a backpack pillow.

32oz gatorade bottle / platypus or hydration pack? There's an orange plastic trowel that weighs less (I believe, or cheaper I know of, I think... or sticks?!), pocket knife (partial to the Gerber Gator), rain gear (shell / pants / gaiters- if necessary), Stove (super cat / pocket rocket / jetboil, camp fire, something hot), cookset, water filtration (filter / aqua mira), med kit (homemade or lightweight). Just curious, why 2 evac? I have one 10L for dry clothes / pillow. Deuter 65+10 ACT Lite is a great pack, I have one, LOVE IT. I also changed my tent stakes from standard to MSR Needle stakes (light weight / reflective). Best of luck, HAVE FUN!

Where on the AT are you hiking, the AT in July can be a variety of conditions from snow in the Whites to 100deg in GA.
