I just got back from Colorado, had to go see a college w/ my daughter. While there we attempted to summit Pike's Peak a 14'er we only got as high as Devil's playground. Postholing in several area's, snow, ice covered trail and whipping wind.
But what I want to say is those Rocky Mtns are impressive, we had a 360 view at Devils playground, the Rocky's where covered in snow I keep waiting for the Coor's Light train to bust through them.
All you hikers from Co. are quite lucky to have such a beautiful State!

Yes, probably the only state (lower 48) that compares is CA.
Both are Awesome.

Very true.
Here is a video I just put on youtube yesterday of some good video clips of all 3 of those states. In the lower left hand corner of each scene is the 2 state abbreviation of where it was shot.

For western hiking, Arizona is my favorite place to hike.
