Kisatchie National Forest in Louisiana

Has anyone on here hiked any of the trails in Kisatchie? I haven't yet, but I was looking at information about the Backbone Trail and the Caroline Dormon Trail. It looks like those two are the only combination of any type of lengthy trail in the state. I was thinking about hitting them combined and yo-yoing them for a total mileage of 52.4.

According to my handy-dandy Long-trails of the Southeast(which I keep in my desk draw at work to look through and sigh in a climate controlled NOC during Mids) The Wild Azalea Trail in Kisatchie is the longest footpath in Louisiana at 26.3, although the author assures the reader that they is plenty of variation in the geography.
