Has anyone does this with any kind of meat, then dried it? How did it taste after re-hydrating?

I soaked some beef with a salty siracha wet rub then dried it. It tasted like the wings of a phoenix. Amazing.

really sounds so hot and delicious, siracha hot sauce is my favorite.. :)

All I do is put about a tablespoon of Tabasco in my marinade. It gives my jerky a little bit of a bite. I like hot things, but I hate it when folks substitute overly hot for flavor.

I use the Mccormicks Bourban flavor marinade, add a cup of brown sugar, and a teaspoon cayenne to about 5lbs of venison jerky.....Mmmmmmmm!
