Looks like a great deal, and very roomy. Any idea what 'minimum weight' means? Would that be without the awning poles?

looks like it would be great if it had a screen on the side

That looks kind of doable.

I’m my area I’d have access to trees and/or sticks to whip up a pole or just tie it off to a tree, that way I could forgo the pole weight and keep it at the minimal weight.

That is what I'm realizing the awning/door does not have a screen. In the summer it would be nice to have that open for ventalization. Its a single layer so I'm thinking your going cook in the summer and have a lot of condensation. Otherwise I like it for the weight, stealth and pack size.

If it gets any cheaper, I would definately jump on it.
