Hi all,

I just purchased a Gregory Baltoro 70 pack, and want to get a rain cover for it.. now according to the Gregory site, my pack requires a Medium size rain cover.. But i have seen on other sites where people have said that needed a large for similar sized packs.

Not sure if it matters but i would like it to be big enough to be able to bend my waist straps to they fit in it and are covered for over night when i have my pack hanging up..

Any input would be great!

Thanks.

If you hang stuff on the outside of your pack then you need to go a size larger. If you don't hang stuff on the outside of your pack then the medium will do.

It wouldnt hurt to go larger. You can always tighten the fly and it leaves you with more options.

No problem at all. You just want to keep your options open. You never know what you might end up hanging on your pack. :)

I like to go larger. Pack covers can also double as a sink with a few logs or rock forming a square. I even used mine as a small bathtub on PCT
