Just wanted to drop a quick line in here to say thank you to everyone for all of their contributions to the site. I've been dreaming and planning for my hike for over 2 years now and altering my life over the past year to be able to make time for the trail to be a reality. I'm leaving tomorrow morning to head to Atlanta, grab a shuttle out to the Hiker Hostel, and begin at Springer on Friday.

From gear lists to news about the trail, to closures, tips on rides, where to eat, where to stay, you guys have had answers whenever I needed them. It's made a huge difference in regards to my ability to plan for my hike. I know LW says that "it's just walking" and it may be to someone who has been doing it for half of their life, but to most of us, it's the adventure of a lifetime.

Whether I succeed or fail, complete the trail or not, I wanted to let all of you know that you have been instrumental in my preparations, so again, thank you and much love!

See ya on the Trail!

See you on the Trail. Mark Trail and I are starting at Amicalola this sunday. It was a blast last year and I don't see why it shouldn't be a blast this year as well!

Happy hiking!
