I like to sleep in thermal underwear (tops and bottoms) during the non-summer months. My current set (by DuoFold) weighs 28oz. Does anyone have a lighter-weight set of thermal underwear? I'm looking for something in the mid-weight range.

Pretty much everything I've seen on the market at places like REI can blow that weight out of the water. Capilene, smartwool, even REI brands. I've got the Capilene 3's for sleepwear and together they weigh 14 ounces.

SmartWool is the most comfortable that I've tried yet....very light. Comes in light, mid and expedition weight.

DUO-FOLD might be the heaviest stuff made and not even that warm - where did you get that, some army navy surplus place? not really standard "backpacker issue"
