We just finished our hike from Springer to Unicoi, but had to bail due to weather at Neels. The main reason for this post is to let people know about Ron Brown. We contracted with him to pick us up at Unicoi and drive us to Springer. We arrived 1 1/2 hours late and HE WAS THERE WAITING! We needed to stop fro some extra supplies and Ron's response -- NO Problem. He was fair, pleasent and a great asset to the Georgia section of the trail. If you need a shuttle or getting off the trail Call Ron. He will not try to rip you off like others will. It nice to know there are a few good people still around.

Met Ron a few weeks ago. Didn't need his service but liked his attitude and he seemed like a very nice man.

He told me he will go anywhere in Georgia and his rates are the lowest around. Just taking his word for that. Haven't checked.
