I am considering using a particular brand and style stuff sack for all my needs and was wondering if any of you recommend any particular ones?

Outdoor Research dry sacks. For my down sleeping bag. Worth the extra ounce or two and COMPLETELY waterproof.

Very similar to this one: http://www.outdoorresearch.com/site/airpurge_dry_compression_sacks.html

The peace of mind these give me is amazing and worth the extra cost. For lightweight non waterproof bags, sea to summit are decent, but the clips that you use to cinch down the straps break really easily.

I agree, I use this O.R. Dry Sack for my W.M. Ponderosa Sleeping Bag:

All my other stuff sacks are ZPacks Cuben Fiber and an Integral Designs Sil-coat stuff sack.
I will most likely replace the Sil-coat with a ZPacks Cuben.

Check out the Mountainfitter.com Cuben Fiber Dry Sacks (http://www.mountainfitter.com/Packing/Mountainfitter-Cuben-Fiber-CTF3-Drybags-p508.html).

Super light weight and a great price!

I used this one last year and it worked great for me. Both of the 15 and 30 degree down bags fit and compressed well, plus the air purge fabric simplifies the packing process.

Those OR sacks are on steepandcheap.com pretty frequently for less than $10.

I've been using Sea to Summit Ultra-Sil Dry Sacks. So far I love 'em.
