I recently got a new tent. I have to use a silicone based sealer.
How warm does the weather need to be before I can seal the seams?

I figured you need a response. A lot of other people checked out your post already. Honestly, I have no idea, but you might want to take a look at a tube of silicone adhesive to see what temperatures they reccommend for application. I've always sealed my tents and tarps when it was warm and the fabric had stretched.
The recommended temperature range from GE is 40f to 100f.
Below about 65f I do them inside. I don't think that I ever done one any lower than about 65f.
In warm dry weather silnylon stretches therefore exposing the gaps in the stitching a bit more.
9if you can set up your shelter taut...)
In high humidity it will dry faster, sometime fast enough to need thinning several times during application.
Not 100% sure about this but last week I did a Cuben shelter and that appeared to shrink in the cold.
I had it up in moderate tension in the evening it was taut in the morning.

I've no idea either, but I did it in warmish spring weather (15 C maybe?) and it worked out well.

Thanks for the help. Our highs for the next 10 days are low 40s F.
I thing I will wait a few weeks before sealing the seams.
