Anybody know if the Ashuwillticook Rail Trail parking area is safe for overnight parking?

Here's a link give them a call. I would think it is open but can't confirm it. The Northampton trail is open off Rt 9

I think it can generally considered safe for a few days. It's right in the middle of town.

I'll probally get blasted for this but: the parking areas is for folks who use the trail, not as a "long term" parking facility. During peak useage, the parking areas fill up fast with space at a premium. Each space "turns over" serveral times per day as walkers tend to come and go frequently. On the flip side during inclement weather the lots are nearly vacant. Either way, I would suggest looking into other arrangements.

I can confirm that the Ashuwillticook Rail Trail parking in Cheshire is safe for overnight parking (4 nights for me).
