View Full Version : Help Finding A Pic of a Tent...

Just as I was logging off, today, I saw a pic of a tent pitched on a Bald. It had a man sitting inside it facing to the left. I believe he had dark hair and maybe a beard? I wasn't looking at the dude, I was interested in the tent. It was a "The North Face" shelter, possibly a one person set-up. The fly was attached and was a blood red color. I have never seen a TNF tent this color. I am very interested in this tent and would appreciate it if anyone can help me find it, or the person that took the snapshot. I own a MSR Hubba 1P and am not real thrilled about the narrowness on the inside. I am 6'4" and am about 203-208 lbs. and am trying to find something a little wider with more room. Any help anyone can give would be muchly appreciated. Thanks...
I absolutely love my Hubbas but if you want a little more rolling around room - check this tent out. I've don't own one but I've seen it and it looks great.

Oh - I don't think I understood your post - you are trying to fig out which North Face tent you saw - sorry - I have a North Face sleeping bag but (fyi) am generally not a big fan of their company

I'm a 'tard, I thought you meant that was a person. It's not the Dyad. The doors opened from the sides, much like a Roadrunner or a Rock...
Oh, maybe it was a Vario 23. If seen from the door side, that is red..
Mind you, for a large solo tent I woulkd be looking at the TT Rainbow or the Scarp 1 if a double wall is required ...
