Has anyone tried cooking a Lipton/Knorr side dish in one of the 550 ml pots? It seems that you's have to cut back a little on the "boil" water. Otherwise, I'm thinking that it's either overflowing or too full to stir. Any experiences?

I had a little trouble with the 3 cup (about 700 ml) pot that came with my old Boy Scout cook kit. Too full to stir effectively, ending up with some scorching on the bottom that didn't help the flavor a bit. (Curiously, the skillet worked a lot better, starting out with less water and adding as it absorbed)
