Been reading for a while, first post today. Anyone ever use a Gregory Baltoro 70 as carry on luggage? Thanks in advance!

If you are really wanting to know if you can use your pack as carry on luggage then, yes, I just used mine when I flew to San Diego recently. I even had a Z rest attached to it and when we had a 2 hour delay I just unfolded it and sat down and read.

Just make sure you don't have any prohibited items in it. No tent stakes, fuel canisters, hiking poles, more than 3 ounces of any liquid, etc.

^^ +25809 Make sure you check with your airline to see current restrictions, these things change pretty often.

I just flew Delta and had a 50L 19 pounds pack and was not allowed to carry it on. No fuel of any kind can be carried. Duck tape you hiking poles. Airline most likely will have you put them in your bag.

Not a baltoro, but I routinely fly using one of 2 50CL backpacks as carry-on.(EMS 3000 & Kelty 3100 - both with aluminum internal stays) Never had a problem or been searched. Usually USAirways, but some American & TranAir.
