OK some of ya like these bananas (why God only knows..) Is there any way I can disable this dancin' banana? i want him to skeedatle! I find it silly distracting and pointless.

Just repeat to yourself when you log in:
"Don't think about dancing bananas". Should do the trick for you.
Actually, now that I think of it, the bananas I see no longer dance...they just stand there.
if you want the bananas too stop dancing just hit the stop button (on IE its a red circle with an X

Why is this so funny to me at 7 AM...? My friend's 6 year old recently told me that old joke about: "Can't hear you, I have a bananna stuck in my ear".
Hey...! That's it....!!!! Just stick a bananna in your ear and all will be fine...!

If your browser lets you, turn off loading image files (in other words, go to text only mode) whenever you log onto WB. Of course, this disables loading of all images, not just the banana.

If you have IE, click 'Tools' and select 'Internet Options'. From Internet Options click the 'Advanced' tab, within this window under Multimedia uncheck the box "Play animations in web pages."
This will leave the bananas, but they won't dance anymore.
