El Faco-- Happy Hour here; we met in the Smokies a couple of weeks ago. I am one of the "Virginia Ladies", as Mark Trail dubbed us. It was great meeting you, Mark Trail and Sweet Tea. hope your hike is going well. I miss being on the trail!

Once a year, if you're good, he will show up with gifts and tidings of joy.

Farout and fizzadelic, man. I'm back in Damascus for the whole Trail Days experience and, not 5 minutes after arriving, I saw Lone Wolf again! If nothing else this thread has received more attention than any other that I've written in the past 6 years.

Oh and Praha yes I did go into Sodom I mean Gatlinburg this trip. How I could have lived w/o henna tattoos, Smoky Mtn fudge and laser tag I'll never Know!

Hasta la proxima,

I was just talking to Willow last week and she said she had hiked with LW recently and I trust Willow, ergo LW does exist. Like Chuck Norris though, there are imposters out there.

I have heard such rumours of this one they call the Lone Wolf. They have spread far and wide, up the ridgelines to the Northern Lands, and across the hinterlands of the internet. I trust not in such rumours. I trust only in the fire in my kelly, the oats in my belly, and the stave of the mighty larch I grip by my own hand.

LW would never keep an online journal! not him, note the name "James Shiff", that is definitely not our Lone Wolf

Lone Wolf; did we meet around May 29th of 2000 at Rusty's? Wee-Willy, Seldom Seen, and Pirate were there. If there you would remember we watched some kid come flying down the driveway in the rain, slam on his brakes only to slide-out on the wet crushed cans for about 15 feet into the front porch.
