I make a basic skirt out of lightweight polyester (like sport shorts) and a basic wrap. If anyone is interested let me know offline or on the WB email. Hammock Hanger

We've already had a discussion of why men should wear kilts. But why should women wear skirts? I gave them up when dress codes went away in junior high school. The only time I wear a skirt now is when I'm kayaking. Can women develop chafing problems like men? I don't sweat alot, so have never had any such problems.

I like to wear a skirt because it's one less thing to pull down when I have to pee. Skirts make an excellent seat cover over a pair of running tights or polar stretch tights. I don't have a 20 year old butt and need lots of coverage. It makes me feel more feminine too. Why look and act like a guy when you don't have to?

HH - Do you have a picture of the skirts you make? You've inspired me to make myself one too. Out of curiosity, do you buy your material at the fabric store or order it from outdoorsy companies?
