I just got an awesome new Blast Pack from Zpacks made of Cuben Fiber. It looks like it would be waterproof until it started getting abrasions and stuff, except for the seams. Being that it would be harder to get the outside of the pack sealed, because of straps and cinches, I was thinking about seam sealing the inside.
Two Questions:
Is there any good reason to seam seal a pack?
Is there any good reason not to seam seal the inside?
Thanks for the help. Oh and the Hexamid tent I got from them appears to be pretty awesome itself. Interesting construction, and though it only weighs 9 ozs, appears very durable.
