Does anyone know of a gadget I can add to my blog (on blogspot) that will track our miles/location so readers can easily see where we are?

Thanks!

I'm looking for the same thing. It would be great to have an embedded google map that plotted the last updated position on the terrain map, with the ATC's google map info of the trail and shelters. Being able to report mileage rate would be great too. This is basically all I want for our blog so that friends can meet us out on the trail with little coordination effort on my behalf.

Any programmers out there? :D

Have you looked into the Spot Tracker? I am working on putting it on my blog right now. It's really simple and works okay.

Sounds cool. Unfortunately their site is down, but I'll try to check it out when it's back up

I know nothing about that site.....

When you activate your SPOT tracker it auto generates it with google maps and gives you the java script to copy and paste on your site.

I'm looking for a solution that could work with a smartphone or manually entered coordinates
