Hey I was wondering how much a shuttle should cost from Unicoi Gap to Springer Mountain? I was quoted at $100 for two people, is this reasonable? I was planning on starting this on May 23rd so any help is appreciated.

Lets see, from Unicoi on Hwy 75 to 75A to 129 to 19 to Hwy 60 to FS 42 and up to Springer... hmmm about 70 miles or more and 2 hours driving time, at least... yep, it's a bargain! If the person charges $1.50 per mile (going rate in the area) it would be more than that. If they charge by the hour, it is round trip - remember they have to return, and that counts, so figure at least 5 hours at $20 per hour (going rate in the area) that would be $100...
