View Full Version : GA-Amicalola to Neels May 26-29
I'm flying in from San Antonio for a little R&R that will include hiking from Amicalola Falls to Neels Gap starting Thursay, May 26 and ending Sunday, May 29th. Let me know if anyone cares to join in or if anyone will be on the trail on those days.

My friend and I will be trying to do a small section of that from the 27th - 29th. From Springer to Woody Gap (My friend is rather new to backpacking so we're keeping it short.) We'll be on the look out for ya!
Sounds great. I'm actually camping at Amicalola on the 25th to recover from Tuesday's Jimmy Buffett concert (don't ask). So I'll be hiking to Springer on the 26th and then leaving Springer on the 27th.
Just look for the orange and gray BPL Absaroka backpack. Easy to see a few miles away. Unless it's raining, in which case I'll be wearing a Red eVent Packa. Also easy to see a few miles away :)

Sounds like fun! I'll be walking around on the LonsStar Trail... WISHING I was on the AT... Have a great time.
