Does anyone know how far it is from Roswell Ga. to the Springer Mt. approach trail?

Contact Josh or Leigh at the Hiker Hostel (hikerhostel.com) and ask - they can probably tell you exactly. Roswell is a suburb north of Atlanta, and my best guess is 80-100 miles. There is no really good way to get from Atlanta to Springer other than a shuttle service. You do not want to hitch a ride out of Atlanta.

thanks for the replies, I have a cousin that lives there in Roswell and I will be going up to visit before I start my hike in March. I had asked her if she knew but she had no idea so I figured I would ask where I knew someone would.
