Looking for a hiking partner for March or April 2012. I am in the process of doing training hikes on weekends (4 to date) and also looking for local folks who want to hike the AT or other trails in preparation. I live in NJ near Philadelphia and have a car.

I am looking to do the Springer Mtn to Atkins,Va section, so could start with you. At avg 15 mpd and one day off a week to food shop and wash clothes, that section should take about 5 weeks (463 mi). I also have a car, so 3-4 day hikes, then move the cars would also be a possibility.
