I've been seeing and picking off lots of the larger ticks here in PA but not the deer ticks.

Picked a deer tick off my leg yesterday. Keeping an eye out for the bullseye. I've found several deer ticks on me in the past few years; I always have a reaction (swelling, scar), but never a rash. So far I've never tested positive for the disease.

Another reason I am happy to be in Alaska.

I met a hiker back in March who contracted Lyme's in December - hiking in SNP.

No Bulls eye and negative results are not indicative that you don't have the disease. If you develop any kind of flu like symptoms, get to your MD for some antibiotic. I'd go in anyway and get it - just tell them you had a deer tick embedded. The antibiotic is harmless. I'm actually curious as to some of these online Canadian pharmacies that sell the antibiotic without a prescription - if its genuine.
