Our website was known at TheNorthernJourney.com but since we have changed our plans and will now be flipping from HF to K and HF to we need to change the title. Any suggestions???

Want someting like the northernjourney but the flipflopjourney just doesn't have the same kind of ring to it.

Very nice web site! I don't see anything wrong with keeping the name Northern Journey.

Like a trail name, let the experience provide the name, rather than trying to force something. The experience is almost certain not to be what you thought it would be.

"Appalachian Journey" would work well, too, regardless of which way you go, in whatever direction.

Good luck to you!

Title for a flip-flop? How about "Giant Handsprings on the Appalachian Trail"? :jump

In the Are we Nuts? (www.whiteblaze.net/forum/showthread.php?t=7252&page=4&pp=20) thread Gravityman said:

Good job listening and adjusting! You showed the first quality that I think will allow you to make it the full 2200 miles - flexibility!Ok, second quality: keep it simple. You already have the website, URL, and graphics set up (looks good, BTW), go with the simple solution - keep the name! I like it, and I don't see a problem using it while flip-flopping. If you feel you have to explain the difference, add a journal entry or an "about" link and explain what you went through choosing to do a flip flop over a nobo traverse of the AT. I'm sure that issue comes up for people each year and they would appreciate reading your experience of choosing nobo initially and then reconsidering.

You could call it the "NOSO JOURNEY". Kinda a hybrid of the traditional NOBO and SOBO approaches.
