knife? I carry one as a security blanket, but for almost anything that needs cutting, I bring a couple of single edge razor blades.flip flops for camp shoes I found wanting on chilly nights (unless you have toe socks). I switched to cheap tevos.Theyre just as light and I can wear socks without loooking like a third world refugee.

You list knife twice. Just take one.

I'd leave the bug net and take some DEET instead if it were me.

good list. really the only place i see that you could lighten up would be to swap that sleeping bag for a top quilt. not a cheap move though.

I love my ear plugs...
It can still get cool. Thin fleece?
Could go with lighter sleeping bag for warmer weather.
