I have the Companion on my iPhone now. Don't need an app.

For section hikes, I scan the pages I want, and create a pdf file. You can upload the WhiteBlaze database as well: http://www.whiteblaze.net/forum/showthread.php?p=340867

I know AWOL has thought about it for the AT Guide, but it would be a lot of work for relatively few potential sales.

If I was going on a thru right now I would buy AWOL's tear-out book and scan the whole thing into a pdf file. OR, break it up into several pdf files and email them to myself so I could upload the parts as needed.

The ATTrails series works just fine. They have bad reviews by folks that can't figure out how they work. ATTrails DOES work and work well. It is kinda expensive if you but all the segments. I have bought it for sections and love it.
