avon skin so soft is useless.anfd you're better off keeping those items separate. Most of the time, you'll need repellant when thers no sun.and many times vice versa.

I'm a little late to this but if you are still looking, i like a product called Cactus Jack. i cannot tolerate anything that has DEET so I have explored all the other alternatives and this has worked well for me. It's hard to find but you can get it online. I do not know if comes the smaller sizes that a hiker may prefer but I use this alot when fishing (locally and in the Gulf) and I highly recommend it.

Sunscreen and repellants should never be combined. Mosquitoes bite mostly in the evening or on cloudy days when the sun is harmless.

Why put repellent on your skin when you don't have to? Use DEET and put it on your clothing. If you're worried that it will eat through your clothing, then stitch a sacrificial patch on it.

Avon is a well-known company for its awesome product. I think their product will work for you.
