Another quick and dirty article about a key piece of backpacking and camping gear: sleeping bags

As with previous gear articles, it does not go over specific brands and models, but rather provides a high level overview of what may work for you depending upon your needs, time of the year, what type of backpacking or camping is done and other factors. This is a meat and potatoes article without a lot of technical jargon. http://www.pmags.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif

As with all gear, there is no 'best' option…only what is best for you!

Here is a high level overview that will help you pick out the appropriate bag for your needs.

Now it's a sleeping bag write-up! When are you coming out with a clothing or gear line, like Bear Gryllis did, so you can lay a nice ring on that GF of yours and move out of your mama's basement? LOL.

Good article Mags. Mags, that might make a nice logo emblazened on a hiking shirt like IZOD or on a pair of UL hiking shoes like Nike! I got it - Magalicious Nutritional Bars formulated by a hiker, with the help of world renowned nutrionists, for the hiker! What's your favorite color Mags? Let's take it to the late night infomercial market. We'll even have a picture of you wearing that funky hat on the wrapper eating one of your Magalicious Nutritional Bars! We got to be thinking BIG! Let's take this hiking thing to the next level! I'm tired spending ridiculous amounts of time on WB and living without a swimming pool, tennis court, and climbing wall in my backyard.

The only energy bar I eat is a Snicker's... :)

Seems like I've answered the same question over and over again well, over, the years.

So, why not write it down once, send a link and people can have at it ;)
