Hi all,
I really like the PodSac RocSac - http://www.podsacs.com/products_rocsac.html - (http://www.podsacs.com/products_rocsac.html)
What I like about it....

Simple bag. One top-pocket (brain) and one main compartment. Non-zippered design (except the one in the top-pocket)
Made of tough materials (cordura) Im rough on my gear and need something that will withstand the abuse of bushwacking, rock abrasion, etc.
NOT overly complicated harness system (just good shoulder pads and a simple hipbelt)
Padded back (not a frame sheet)
Simple, but functional side compression straps.
Simple, but functional bungee compression straps.
Size (35 liters)

What I don't like about it...

No separate water bladder pouch. This is NOT a big deal. It would just be kinda nice.
The brain (top-pocket) does not extend or remove.
Only sells in the UK. Could ship from UK to US, but there has to be a closer reseller.

This pack is dang near perfect (for me). I only wish I could find it for sale in the U.S. I have looked. They only sell in the U.K.
My questions for this group are...

Does anyone know of a U.S. reseller for this brand and model of pack?
Does anyone know of another brand of pack that has the features I like AND possibly the features I feel it is missing?
Does anyone on these boards have this pack (or another PodSacs pack? If so, what has your experience been with the fit/comfort/rugged-ness :)/overall functionality and thoughts on the pack and brand?

Thanks in advance.

Take a look at CileGear (http://www.cilogear.com/). They are a bit more expensive, but are bombproof. I just got their 30L WorkSack to use as a SAR pack, and it is very similar to the RocSac. The material is Dyneema RipStop and the pack looks like it will handle any bushwhacking or climbing abuse you could throw at it. It's well designed and very versatile.
