Hopefully it isn't a warning for scorpions, quicksand, tuberculosis, bears or falling rocks. If it is for none of those then you are in the clear.

Seriously, I think the sign was nailed upside down and is meant to show potable water.
Could mean there's a "Dairy Queen Ahead". That's the way they serve Blizzards- upside down- to show how thick and creamy they are.
