All,
Yearly myself and 2 friends section hike the AT. We started at Springer and have made our way thru the Smokys. We have an extra 4 days at the end of July and would like to pick up a nice section somewhere, but we since we just found out we will be able to go - we have not had time to research it.
So, we are looking for a section that is close to a airport that Delta flies into (I have free flights with them) and would prefer some place with some elevation to help keep us a bit cooler. A shuttle service in the area would be a huge benefit.
I would appreciate anyones recommendation on this.
Thanks,
Michael
