Need Trans. at High Point, NJ and Bellvale, NY

I need transportation to High Point, NJ on 7/14, and from Mount Peter/Bellvale, NY on 7/17. I want to know how close I can get to these points using public transportation. Planning to travel through NYC. Please reply or PM only if you can help or have good local knowledge please.
Also, how is the water supply in that section?

I know that NJ Transit trains go to Port Jervis, NY. Maybe you can get a shuttle from there.
