A recent idea on how to use the Venom Super Stove to roast 2 hot dogs at once. I tried it this morning and here are the results:
My first try told me I needed to double wrap and to use less fuel
Second try worked perfect.
I used 2 hot dogs inividually put on a bamboo skewer 12" long. I then wrapped both hot dogs together with a sheet of heavy duty aluminum foil that was 10" wide X 20" long. The dogs had at least 2 layers of foil, possible 4 wrapped around them. The skewers were pushed all the way through and extended about 6". The pointed ends make it easy to shove down into the moist soil. I put 1/2 ounce of heet in the Super Stove, slid it over the dogs till it reached the soil and then lit it. I then let the stove burn itself out and unwrapped the dogs and i was pleasantly surprised to see how nice they looked. I quickly did a taste test and ate both of them on the skewer, right there on the spot.
Next test......Corn On The Cob :D No skewer, just wrap and place on pot support.
