My buddy and I are looking for a 3 day 2 night loop hike in North Ga. or Southern Carolina. We did a 2 nighter around Standing Indian last October. Any help would be much appreciated.
There are several loop possibilities in the Cohutta Wilderness.

I just did a loop from Neels Gap to the Duncan Ridge Trail to the Coosa Back Country back to Neels Gap. There was plenty of water and some really cool camp sites and a ton of wildlife. Its well blazed and except when the Coosa skirts Vogel SP. I didn't see anyone. PM me if you want any more info...
