Met a hiker, first name Archie, hiking in black army boots. He was leaving the area to head back north. He had waited for a mail drop in Townsend that never arrived so he gave up. I got a message to his daughter as he asked. Should anyone see him plz let him know she is sending a mail drop to Erwin and she was adding minutes to his phone. He was pretty whipped, wet, and ready to head back north.
